
Dano Peace
Early Dance Career
Dano Peace began his artistic journey at the tender age of four. His passion for dance deepened from 1982 to 1991, a period during which he performed Armenian dance with Shirag Sayat Nova while also attending ballet school.
Transition to Music
In 1991, Dano shifted his focus to music, touring with rock bands until 1997 and performing in over 500 concerts across North America. His musical talents gained recognition in 1998 when he was named a semi-finalist at the Festival International de la Chanson de Granby. In 1999, he further cemented his status by reaching the finals of the Festival International de la Chanson de Granby, the Festival de Chanson de Petite Vallée, and the Festival de la Chanson à St-Ambroise.
Artistic Evolution
Between 1999 and 2001, Dano performed in "Notre Dame de Paris" in Quebec and France, marking the beginning of his exploration into painting. From 2002 to 2006, he continued his musical career by playing in two cover bands, performing another 500 concerts within the province and on tour in Morocco. He also took part in the French musical "Un Rendez-vous dans l'Irréel" and produced an original rock album with the band WLOVE.
From 2007 to 2009, Dano produced a funk jazz album with the band TONE SIGNAL, actively touring during this period. In 2009, became a certified Yoga Instructor under the guidance of Dr.Bali at Yoga Bliss, and by 2013, he had established Expansoma, a thriving music, art, and health festival. Between 2010 and 2017, Dano taught yoga full-time, leading 40 classes a month.
Recent Achievements
In 2015, Dano released an original EP with the project ENGINES OF PEACE and toured Morocco. Since 2016, he has served as a cofounder of OLP Productions Inc. where he oversees a 25-musician production and live music entertainment company that delivers over 150 events annually. Dano is a professional lead vocalist and multi instrumentalist in more than six projects, demonstrating his versatility across various styles and languages, including reggae, jazz, rock, funk, blues, French, English, Armenian, and Spanish.
