Sarah E is a Montreal singer and percussionist who is passionate about artistic collaboration. Known for her work with the SU duo, where she has been creating immersive soundscapes at the intersection of trip hop, film music and industrial sound with her partner Ursa Minor since 2016, she also lends her voice to several musical projects.Sarah started her career in music at a young age, starting with the piano and then continuing her studies in classical percussion, which she accomplished with distinction. She then spent a decade leading alternative rock band Hexapheen, where she was able to explore the different facets of song writing and vocal performance. Today, Sarah sings in several corporate bands including MoonSun Musik and most recently the Cloud 9 Funk Project, bringing her unique vocal touch to a variety of styles. She is also a member of the Judi & Filles trio with her mother and sister Kay, and performs regularly as a backing singer and percussionist in more intimate settings. Always in search of new musical experiences, she continues to evolve in her creative projects while pushing the limits of her art.
